How did those perfect high waisted jeans end up in your closet last season?

One simple choice that was enabled by a whirlwind of international adventures and unending hours of work in its trail to creation.  Invisible hands scouring the globe, watching the world unfold and molding peaks of emerging ideas into stories of fabric, color and style that continue to drive the multi billion dollar fashion world.

After an internship at Glamour, Erin began her career in fashion forecasting for Cotton Incorporated in 2006. From Guadalajara to Abu Dhabi, the world was her office as she searched for the pulses that make international hearts beat. She quickly observed how to blend into exotic cultures and uncover what the the masses would be wearing in the next two years and more importantly-why. She translated those experiences into fashion trends for some of the worlds biggest companies and brands.

Her work was intended to inspire designers, brands, mills and retailers to find new and innovative uses for color and fabric. Erin has been a keynote speaker and presenter at Premier Vision, Magic, Texworld, LA Textile, Evtek and Sourcing Guatemala as well as with hundreds of fashion companies in Europe, Asia, North and Latin America. From one on one meetings to 300+ attendees, she presented fashion forecasts twice per year to clients including Nike, Adidas, Levis, Benneton, Mango, BCBG, Guess, Victoria’s Secret, Girbaud, Marks & Spencer, Lee & Wrangler (US & Europe), Tommy Hilfiger, Replay, DKNY, Uniqlo, American Eagle, and Target.

Erin’s had media features including MTV, Wear Magazine, VIEW Magazine and recently been profiled in a fashion industry careers text book.  She’s been on the jury of selection at Pratt and FIT and given trend forecasting seminars for the Paris American Academy and Immaculata University.  She's recently begun teaching a fashion and business course for CIEE and marketing applied to the luxury sector for Paris Dauphine.

After leaving New York for Paris in 2012, she created LOUVER STUDIO to focus on future insights, cultural intelligence, visual story development and fashion industry consulting. She partners with her clients to bring creative direction and vast knowledge of the global fashion and luxury market to aide in directional decisions and to collaborate with the best in the industry.

She currently lives in Paris.
